Failure to follow the rules may lead to a loss of playtime. First strike you sit out one game, the second strike you sit out the rest of the session, and the last strike you site out for the rest of the visit.

Game Specific Rules

  • At all times the LaserTag guns must be held with two hands, do not swing them around in one hand as they might hit themselves or another player.
  • Refrain from touching any buttons on top of the guns.  This may cause your gun to stop functioning.  If the screen on the gun turns black, please proceed to the referee’s station to have your batteries changed.
  • No running on the field, keep it to a fast walk or a light jog and keep your head up at all times, this will avoid going around a corner and banging into a wall or into another player.
  • Hold your gun down by your side with one hand, and use the other hand to hold the handrails when going up or downstairs.
  • There is a wooden tank on the floor, there is a door on one side, and a circular hatch on top. You may get inside the tank and poke your head out the hole, but you are NOT allowed to get on top of the tank for any reason.
  • At all times the irM4 guns must be held with two hands, do not swing them around in one hand as they might hit themselves or another player.
  • Refrain from ejecting the SmartMag from the gun during game play, if you eject the SmartMag during game time, the gun will stop shooting until a new SmartMag is inserted into the gun.
  • Do not open your SmartMag if you eject it from your gun during or in between games. Let your referee change the 12 gram CO2’s for you as they can cause frostbite if not handled properly.
  • When a game is not in process, put your gun in safe mode, this is to help conserve battery life.
  • At all times the Gellyball blasters must be held securely – do not swing them around as they might hit themselves or another player.
  • MOST IMPORTANT RULE is to keep their mask on at all times while on the field, no exceptions! The masks protect their eyes, ears, mouth and nose. If they need to take their mask off for any reason, they must exit the field before removing it.
  • Underneath the grip, you will find the on/off switch. The switch slides back and forth between 1 and 0. 0 is off and 1 is on. Always treat the blaster like it is on.  Keep it pointed at the ground and your finger off the trigger except when you are playing.
  • The idea is to hold the trigger down and hose down your opponents.
  • If you get hit you must call yourself out, you will do this by putting both hands in the air, and yelling “I’m Out” and keep your hands in the air until you are off the field.
  • If you see someone with both hands in the air, do not try to hit them.
  • Try to aim between the shoulders and waists of your opponents, avoid aiming for any private areas.
  • The balls are not reusable.  Please do not pick them up off the field and reuse them because they will jam up your gun.
  • When the game is over or if your referee says stop firing, you must turn your blaster off and stop shooting your blaster.
  • A most important rule – Mask on at all times. Does not matter if the game is over, you are eliminated or your mask fogs up. For no reason should you lift your mask up on the field? The first time you will get a warning, the second time you sit out a game, and the third time are done playing for the day. No exceptions.
  • Second most important rule – Barrel bags and safeties on when not playing. Whenever you come off the field make sure your safety is turned on and your barrel cover is on your marker. If you walk into a safe zone with your barrel bag or safety off you will receive a warning the first time, the second time you sit out a game the third time you do it again you will be done for the day. DO NOT UNTIE BARREL BAG FROM GUN. If you return your gun with no barrel bag you will be charged $5.
  • Please be careful of the terrain. This is nature. There are rocks, brooks, stumps, and all kinds of natural things out to trip you, twist an ankle, or just ruin your day. Be careful of slippery rocks and if there is snow or ice be extra careful.
  • Explanation on how safety and gun works – Push the button to the left and you will see a red ring. Red = Dead. If you push it to the right the markers will not fire. If your marker stops shooting at any point make sure your safety is off. Re-cock the gun by pulling back on the cocking handle and try to fire. You may need to do this a couple of times for the gun to fire. If this keeps happening let me know and I will get you a different marker.
  • When you get hit the ball has to break on you or your equipment for you to be eliminated – A hit anywhere on the body or marker counts as an elimination. If you get hit and call yourself out, but later realize the ball didn’t break you are still out. You cannot go back into the game.
  • When eliminated put your hand or marker in the air and yell “IM OUT!” and walk off the field with your hands raised. You will either head to the safe area or stand by me depending on the field. I will let you know before each game.
  •  We try to enforce a 20-foot rule. Please do not shoot a player any closer than 20 feet.
  • If you get within 20 feet of a player ask them to surrender. If you are asked to surrender you MUST SURRENDER. If you are asked to surrender and turn and shoot you will sit out the next game.
  • Do not pick paint up off the ground – The balls may look good but paintballs swell up over could also be dirty and then you end up shooting gravel or rocks and will jam the gun. You will have to sit out a game as the gun will have to be maintained or replaced.
  • Do not shoot at wildlife – ZERO TOLERANCE. Do not shoot at birds, squirrels, rabbits, moose, etc. Do not even joke about it. You will be asked to leave immediately.
  • All ammo must be BIO and not steel and purchased from Frontline Action.
  • No Blind Firing (shooting a gun at a target you cannot see). No ghosting your gun or RPGing it, ( don’t hold the gun over cover and look through a crack ).
  • Airsoft Guns must be concealed in the original packaging, case or bag when being transported. Gun must not be visible or distinguishable when being transported.
  • When In Safe Zone, guns must have barrel bag and mag removed.

All Guns Must Be Chrono-ed To Meet the following specifications:

  • 355 Fps(1.2 Joules) limit indoors with a .20 BB.
  • 1.59 Joules Limit Outdoors for Airsoft guns except for semi-locked DMRs, which are 1.99 (50’ MED) and bolt-action which are 2.09 (100’ MED).
  • We reserve the right to inspect a customer’s gun and not allow play with a gun that does not pass chrono safety standards.
  • You must use max .20 weight BB’s indoors.
  • Semi-Auto must be used on indoor field and in village outdoors at all times.
  • Full Seal eyewear must be used at all time with minimum rating of Ansi/Isea Z87.1 and CE certification 166/170 high impact requirements. Need to discuss further clarification, notice how everyone’s face shape is different some small gaps are visible. Or others using non foam that still have gaps.
  • You must have lower face protection while on the field if under 19 and strongly recommended for over 19.
  • If you suspect a player of cheating go directly to the nearest game marshall. Do not yell at the player while playing.
  • No deliberately shooting at emergency and regular lighting at the indoor. Please minimize Gyproc damage as well whenever possible at the indoor.
  • No unsportsmanlike conduct will be tolerated.

Always call your hits:

  • When ANY part of your body or kit, including your gun, is hit, you need to shout that you are hit, then proceed to the safe zone, respawn, etc.
  •  If a shot was clearly a ricochet, it does NOT count.
  • If you are not sure if a hit was a ricochet, count it as a good hit.
  • No playing while under the influence of drugs or alcohol in open games.
  • Sound grenades, 40 Mikes and explosive pyro of any kind are not allowed. The only grenades that are usable on our field are BB shooting grenades (like cyclone or tornados) or smoke grenades. Grenades have a 10 foot kill radius without cover regardless of contact from BBs.
  • No Lasers permitted..

Melee weapons:

  •   must look like an actual weapon (no sticks or rubber chickens).
  •   Cannot be thrown.
  •   They should be able to bend slightly to keep from causing serious harm or being able to pierce the skin.
  •   Any contact between melee and enemy player should be light strikes, taps or slashes.
  •   There shouldn’t be any malicious attacks.
  •   Attacks between melee weapons shouldn’t turn into an all-out brawl.
  •   Any disagreement will be at the discretion of the referee.
  • In any situation where you successfully get the drop on someone (ie: they do not know you are there and you are less than 5 feet) AND you are very close, you will say “”bang bang”. This is not a request. It is equivalent to you pulling the trigger. The other player then calls themselves out. It exists purely to save the other person from taking an unnecessary hit from very close..
  • “Cease Fire” “No Duff” (or a horn or whistle after game begins) is the code to stop all play immediately. It may be the end of a game or an emergency situation. Please stop play, make gun safe (including barrel cover) and stay in your position (if emergency) in case game resumes. Play will resume when an organizer blows the whistle, horn, or calls “game on”. If it is the end of the game, no additional firing of weapons is allowed.
